Kristine O’Brien, MFA University of Texas Arlington, is an artist and arts educator based in the DFW metroplex.

 

Through practice as a multidisciplinary artist, she continually explores themes of satire, humor, and materiality, seeking to elucidate the nuanced ways in which these elements interact and inform one another. 

 

She is particularly interested in investigating how creative work can positively impact health and wellness outcomes, leveraging the power of visual and experiential elements to promote well-being and connection to community.
